Luiz Agner has a doctorate in Design (PUC-Rio, 2007) and works as a visual designer, UX researcher, and university professor. Luiz is part of the professional design team at Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
He is also a graduate professor at Facha (communication department) and postgraduate design professor at PUC-Rio. He authored the book “Ergodesign and Information Architecture – Working with the User”, with a foreword by Peter Morville (“Information Architecture for the World Wide Web”).
Luiz has published several articles and academic papers on UX, interaction design, ergonomics, information architecture and tablet journalism. He lives in Rio de Janeiro, he has two childreen and also loves op-ed cartoons and dancing.
